摘要: The keratin 18 (K18) gene is overexpressed in cells of tumorigenic clones isolated from the SW613-S human colon carcinoma cell line, compared to nontumorigenic clones. minimal promoter (TATA box and initiation site) K18 has by itself a differential activity cells. An Sp1 binding site located upstream TATA contributes high level expression We report here that not differentially expressed between two types this also case for genes coding factors preinitiation complex known directly interact with protein. Further, DNase I footprinting experiments mutagenesis analysis indicated mechanism responsible apparently does involve factor specific sequence. During course these experiments, it was found actually 11 bp +1 position previously reported only essential element promoter. Treatment histone deacetylase inhibitors more efficient at stimulating than propose overexpression could result acetylation histones and/or controlling transcription complex.
