摘要: Most of the important biological effects associated with exposure to ionizing radiations are mirrored at chromosomal level. In all cases, changes in levels cytogenetic absorbed dose, dose rate and radiation quality. Some complexities quantitative description such response can be circumvented by appealing concepts embodied what has been called “mean inactivation dose”. Additional metrics designed provide LET-dependent “signatures” damage have employed moderate degrees success. These, along some alternative approaches, discussed an effort stimulate discussion, further work leading a better understanding mechanisms involved production significance chromosome aberrations after radiations.
