摘要: Most towns and cities in the UK USA possess a number of venues offering sexually orientated entertainment form exotic dance, striptease or lap dancing. Traditionally subject to moral legal censure, majority these sex-related businesses have tended be situated marginal urban spaces. As such, their increasing visibility more mainstream spaces nightlife raises important questions about sexual gender geographies that characterize contemporary city. In this paper we accordingly locate phenomena adult at convergence geographic debates concerning evening economy, gentrification gendered consumption space. We conclude sites are worthy investigation not only themselves, but also because shifting location reveals much forms heterosexuality homosociality normalized
