摘要: In the last decade, non-invasive ventilation (NIV) has been used to provide respiratory assistance in various groups of patients, mainly those with COPD, cardiogenic pulmonary oedema and acute hypoxaemic failure. Most experience originates from studies carried out adult patients. contrast, data regarding use NIV infants children are scarce, case series constitute majority knowledge home settings. Moreover many published reported derived treatment mixed diseases, making it more difficult draw conclusions respect any specific population or disease.
