摘要: The availability of large amounts genomic DNA is critical importance for many the molecular biology assays used in analysis human disease. However, since amount patient tissue available often limited and as particular foci interest may consist only a few hundred cells, yield insufficient extensive analysis. To address this problem, several whole genome amplification (WGA) methodologies have been developed. Initial WGA approaches were based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR). recent reports described use non-PCR-based linear protocols WGA. Using these methods, it possible to generate microgram quantities starting with little 1mg DNA. This review will provide an overview summarize some uses amplified various high-throughput genetic applications.
