摘要: We have isolated, cloned, and characterized cDNA genomic DNA corresponding to the mRNA gene for rat mast cell protease, RMCP II. The amino acid sequence deduced from provides evidence that this protease is synthesized as a precursor, with signal peptide additional residues at N C termini. RNA homologous expressed only in cells. Analysis of two subclasses cell, mucosal serosal, indicates subclass specific expression different proteases found each these subclasses. S1 protection analysis clone indicate serosal I, likely be coded by separate, highly gene. A comparison exon/intron structure II genes related serine further member family distinct those pancreas. also isolated third gene, but it I. 5' transcriptional control region both showed striking homology TATA box enhancer regions pancreatic proteases.
