摘要: AbstractThe contribution of the kidneys to lung development, which includes growth and maturation, is uncertain but it appears be complex. Obstructive uropathy with oligohydramnios produces pulmonary hypoplasia characterized by small lungs (decreased volume/body weight) retarded maturation (reduced total airspace). Lung were studied in a model early gestation obstructive understand better their relationship prenatal regulation. Of 26 fetal sheep at near term (135 days gestation) 9 had bladder obstruction created 60 gestation, 11 utero decompression 95 days, 6 served as controls shams.
