摘要: The analytical modeling of the initialization stage a relativistic magnetron A6 cylindrical design is presented, where only two dominant modes are used: direct current (dc) background mode and radio frequency (rf) pump mode. These interaction nonlinearly, with dc being driven by electromagnetic forces ponderomotive rf mode, while most unstable linear eigenmode on this background. In geometry, diocotron resonance found to occur over broader region than in planar models. fact, certain parameter regimes, can appear twice, once near Brillouin edge, second, just below anode. these oscillating electrons be accelerated twice. Numerical results for initiation agree quite well known experimental A6. Results 350 kV emphasized, similar have also been obtained voltages between 300 500 kV. data presented that indicate possible source nonlinear instability, which could give rise pulse shortening, later operating stage, device should smoothly delivering power.
