摘要: The activity of dopamine at certain striatal receptors is related to the appearance tardive dyskinesias in man. By analogy Huntington's chorea and L-dopa-induced parkinsonism, it appears that are increased responsiveness receptor sites as a result neuroleptic-induced denervation hypersensitivity. It has been demonstrated anticholinergic drugs worsen patients who have this disorder. also decrease threshold for thereby increase incidence This implies centrally active agents should not be used routine adjunct neuroleptic therapy.
