摘要: In experiments with young plants of the Dwalganup strain subterranean clover, nitrogen deficiency was associated increased concentrations isoflavones in expanded leaves and cotyledons. first trifoliate concentration total (formononetin+genistein+ biochanin A) approximately doubled at low supply. Biochanin A much less affected than other two isoflavones. The increase isoflavone contents nitrogen-deficient decreased protein synthesis, but not always sugar contents. supply carbon substrates for synthesis may depend on starch as well Practical implications results are considered briefly.
