Metal mining industry in Finland – development scenarios to 2030

摘要: Abstract The Finnish metal mining industry and mineral exploration have experienced rapid growth in recent years. new activity has mainly focused on gold, base, ferrous platinum-group metals. raised both hopes concerning the economic benefits fears of environmental degradation, aroused local national conflicts between differing viewpoints. In this paper, we assess possible future development Finland by constructing three scenarios presenting developments terms. These are: 1) best-estimate scenario, 2) base-level scenario 3) maximum scenario. show continuous coming years if profitability outlook projects prospects remains positive.
