摘要: Mode degeneration and mode conversion in multimode optical fibres are the main subjects of this work. In particular it is shown how fluctuations core shape can cause a rapid among modes with same azimuthal number. This allows rigorous single variable approach to second problem obtaining evident simplifications. The formalism proposed applied study distribution general case microbending, core-radius power law profiles for simultaneous presence microbending ellipticity parabolic differential attenuation.
