摘要: Abstract In this paper, thermal energy analysis of three zones a lime production process, which are preheater, rotary kiln and cooler, is performed. order to perform proper quantitative estimation, the system was modeled using balance equations including coupled heat transfer chemical reaction mechanisms. A mathematical model developed, consequently, behavior limestone investigated. The verified empirical data. After confirmation, variation Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC) versus rate predicted optimum condition determined. Subsequently, fuel consumption calculated regarding altered residence time inside each zone for constant output. Results indicate that increasing will enhance efficiency saves consumption. Relative enhancement be same different sizes limestone. It found 10-min increase in material preheater or can reduce by around two percent. Whereas, 5-min cooler would enough obtain similar result. Finally, ratio air-to-fuel changed such way product achieved. predicts lowering excess air from 15% 10% leads 2.5% reduction (SFC).
