摘要: In eukaryotes combinatorial activation of transcription is an important component gene regulation. the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Adr1-Cat8 and Adr1-Oaf1/Pip2 are pairs activators that act together to regulate two diverse sets genes. Transcription both regulated positively by AMP-activated protein kinase homolog, Snf1, in response low glucose or presence a non-fermentable carbon source negatively redundant 14-3-3 isoforms, Bmh1 Bmh2. Bmh regulates function these at post-promoter binding step direct Adr1. However, how after activator remains unknown. present study we analyzed Bmh-mediated regulation genes activated independently activators. We report inhibits mRNA synthesis when second absent.
