Relationship between metabolic control and quality of life in adolescents with type 1 diabetes. Report from two Italian centres for the management of diabetes in childhood.

This study is aimed at answering the question whether demands of intensified diabetes management and good metabolic control may influence Quality Life (QOL) adolescents with Type Diabetes (T1D), that their parents. Overall, 153 were involved (78 males, mean age 15.0±2.3 median 14.6 years; average duration 6.5±3.5 years) from Regional Centres Universities Chieti Parma.
