摘要: The Childhood Adaptation Model to Chronic Illness: Diabetes Mellitus was developed identify factors that influence childhood adaptation type 1 diabetes (T1D). Since this model proposed, considerable research has been completed. purpose of article is update the on T1D using conducted since original proposed. framework suggests that, in individuals and families, characteristics such as age socioeconomic status well individuals' families' responses (self-management, coping, self-efficacy, family functioning, social competence) level adaptation; children with T1D, treatment modality (pump vs injections) psychosocial (depressive symptoms anxiety) also adaptation. both physiologic (metabolic control) (Quality Life [QOL]) components.
