BASIC CLINICAL SKILLS OF NURSING STUDENTS: A COMPARISON BETWEEN NURSING STUDENTS', NURSING GRADUATES' AND LECTURERS' VIEWPOINTS

摘要: Background : Nursing is a skill oriented discipline. In clinical training, learning process mainly related to performance. Moreover, developing skills one of the main goals because it through frequent practice that can develop skill. This study aimed determine frequency practicing basic during nursing students' traineeship. Methods: was cross-sectional descriptive analytic study, using two questionnaires, for students taking traineeship course and other graduated professors. Results: From among seventeen studied in this research, following have not met expectation professors students: subcutaneous injection, blood transfusion, urinary catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion, lavage enema with average 0.06, 1.49, 0.79, 0.80, 0.08 0.17, respectively. There significant difference between professors' opinions about performing muscular serum preparation ordinary infusion set micro-infusion set, dressing, Intake/Output control, oxygen therapy, airway suctioning, gavage, procedures. Conclusion: It seems nurses do enough opportunities some reason their traineeships wards incidence need these are few, usually interns, residents nursing-students perform together. should be considered curriculum planning.
