摘要: Communities are concerned over pollution levels and seek methods to systematically identify prioritize the environmental stressors in their communities. Geographic information system (GIS) maps of can be useful tools for communities assessment environmental-pollution-related risks. Databases mapping that supply community-level estimates ambient concentrations hazardous pollutants, risk, potential health impacts provide relevant understand, identify, exposures risk from multiple sources. An existing databases was conducted as part this study explore utility publicly available databases, three these were selected use a GIS application. Queried data U.S. EPA's National-Scale Air Toxics Assessment, Quality System, National Emissions Inventory mapped at appropriate spatial temporal resolutions identifying risks exposure air pollutants two The combine monitored model-simulated pollutant estimates, along with local survey results, assist identification sources hot spots. Findings case analysis will advance development new assessments hazard prioritization.
