Comparison between measured and calculated concentrations of nitrogen oxides and ozone in the vicinity of a motorway

摘要: Exhaust emissions from a motorway have been monitored for year in joint project by the State of Lower Saxony and Volkswagen. Measurements were performed Fraunhofer Institut fur Toxikologie und Aerosolforschung Hannover. As dispersion models alone are unable to reproduce behaviour nitrogen oxides ozone, simplified air parcel model has developed. This includes, addition pure dispersion, some basic reactions but neglects with hydrocarbons. A comparison observed concentrations shows that gives acceptable results if restrictions respect meteorological conditions taken into account.
