Therefore, an axial flux switched motor (AFSRM) machine with double stator one rotor structure is investigated. general, AFSRM have simple construction; however, major problems ripple which will cause speed fluctuation acoustic noise. View this, skewed segments by specific degree respectively asymmetric inductance property applied reduce drop in phase commutation area. The proposed method analyzed magnetic equivalent circuit approach (MECA) finite element analysis (FEA) method. Through parameter study, reduction significant comparison conventional non-skewed machine.
