摘要: Objective This systematic review aimed to summarise the best available evidence relating prevention and management of complications associated with established percutaneous gastrostomy tubes in adults. Inclusion criteria This considered studies investigating effectiveness strategies prevent and/or manage (PEG) adults where care was provided hospital, aged or community setting. Complications included PEG stoma site infection, occlusion, excoriation inadvertent removal. Search strategy The search strategy find published unpublished limited reports English language. Reference lists that met inclusion criteria were searched for additional studies.
