摘要: The Internet enables users to access vast resources, but it can also expose harmful cyber-attacks. It is imperative that be informed about a security incident in timely manner order make proper decisions. Visualization of threats and warnings one the effective ways inform users. However, visual cues are not always accessible all users, particular, those with impairments. This late-breaking-work paper hypothesizes use sounds conjunction better represent alerts Toward our research goal validate this hypothesis, we first describe methodology, referred as sonification, effectively design develop auditory cyber-security threat indicators warn Next, present case study, along results, various types usability testing conducted on number who visually impaired. presented concept viewed general framework for creation evaluation human factor interactions cyber-space domain. concludes discussion future steps enhance work.
