摘要: Currently a strong emphasis is being placed in North American public health messages on the value of an active lifestyle for all age segments, including older persons. However, seniors do not usually take up physical activities, even though they often have extensive leisure time. Thus purpose this paper to review current knowledge regarding key issues therapists consider when dealing with person who wishes participate fully sport. We chosen example golf because its popularity among seniors, as well usefulness illustrating both overall benefits and risks participation. Although playing provides moderate intensity exercise stimulus musculoskeletal injuries can also result from unsafe participation, aggravation pre-existing problems. Strategies targeted management senior golfer's typical concerns are summarized into 4 categories consisting of: injury rehabilitation coordinated by therapists, warm routines; club-fitting/coaching proper technique, pre-season conditioning programs.
