摘要: Abstract The recent update of the 4th edition World Health Organization's Classification Tumors Endocrine Organs introduced important changes in nomenclature follicular-cell thyroid tumors, namely, regarding mitochondrion-rich neoplasms (In this review, for practical purposes, words Hurthle and oncocytic are synonymous field pathology.) According to last edition, neoplasms, with follicular architecture no typical nuclei papillary carcinoma, – now included a separate group - cell neoplasms. Whenever thus categorized-while keeping variant papillary, medullary poorly differentiated carcinoma-, sort tidal phenomenon has occurred about tumors known decades. Through categorization, pathologists researchers need progress discussion etiopathogenesis (ONs). This review provides an attempt balance facts doubts by questioning based on what is tumors.
