Electrochemical oxidation of l-cysteine mediated by a fullerene-C60-modified carbon electrode

摘要: Abstract Use of a glassy carbon electrode modified by adhered microcrystals fullerene-C 60 mediates the oxidation cysteine in presence aqueous potassium-containing electrolytes. Under conditions cyclic voltammetry, potential for is lowered approximately 100 mV and current enhanced significantly relative to situation prevailing when bare used. Additional mediation occurs range covered includes that C /C n − redox couples. The sensitivity under condition voltammetry dependent on pH, temperature dosage. Excellent analytical and/or recovery data are obtained with vitamin pill, cassamino acid (hydrolyzed casein) beverages.
