摘要: A protein termed endozepine (EP) which inhibits the binding of benzodiazepines to synaptosomal membranes (Ki approximately 5 microM) has been purified electrophoretic homogeneity from bovine and human brain using acidic ethanol/chloroform extraction, Bio-Sil TSK-250 gel permeation chromatography, reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatographies. Bovine EP are single-chain polypeptides have molecular weights 10,000. Both proteins very hydrophilic contain an abundance lysine, glutamic, aspartic residues. Antisera prepared against used develop a sensitive radioimmunoassay for detection in tissue body fluids. immunoreactivity is widely distributed mammalian tissues, fluids, various cell lines. Substantial variation concentrations observed different regions brain.
