摘要: The concentrations of cadmium, copper, lead and zinc in sediment samples from the Vridi Canal (Harbour area economic capital Cote d’Ivoire) were determined to evaluate level contamination. All metal samples, except Cu, greater than concentration Upper Continental Crust (UCC). Sediment pollution assessment was undertaken by using Enrichment Factor (EF), geoaccumulation index (Igeo) Pollution Load Index (PLI). enrichment factor (Cd: EF = 20.04; Pb: 3.43; Zn: 1.56) Igeo 4.29; 1.81) showed that sediments polluted. (PLI > 1) indicated studied heavily contaminated. Based on comparison with quality guidelines, would be toxic one or more species aquatic organisms living sediments.
