摘要: Abstract The particle segregation in the hopper located above bell-less top charging equipment is a factor that affects radial size distribution blast furnace, and as burden determines gas it has implications for whole furnace operation. effect of four different shapes on in-bin discharge particles was studied by discrete element method. calculated results were validated comparing them with experimental coke reported literature. It found behavior spherical showed closest correspondence large- small-size along direction. study indicated have little simulated but, indeed, an continuity flow, can be used to estimate during discharging.
