摘要: Aim: The number of hepatitis A cases in Japan as well other developed countries has been progressively decreasing during the last several years. There is no universal vaccination program Japan, and a virus (HAV) epidemic not unlikely. In 2011, outbreak associated with revolving sushi bar occurred Chiba, Japan. We aimed to analyze this outbreak. Methods: Twenty-seven patients were admitted National Hospital Organization Chiba Medical Center. Molecular epidemiologic investigations conducted. Results: Twenty-six 27 had gone same bar, then clinical symptoms appeared. HAV RNA was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction 23 (85.1%) whose sera tested positive for anti-HAV immunoglobulin M. All isolates from clustered within subgenotype IA, displaying 100% sequence homology each 232 bp all patients. belong IA-1 sublineage, which endemic Japan. Conclusion: outbreak, molecular epidemiological proved useful.
