摘要: This paper reports on triethylenediamine (TEDA) impregnated charcoals, used in nuclear reactors to safeguard against the release of airborne radioiodine, which show high efficiency under various reactor operation and accident conditions when are new. However, during normal operation, charcoal filters continuously degraded (or weathered) due adsorption moisture other air contaminants. The effect weathering for removing radioiodine is great interest. results a study behavior contaminants NO{sub 2}, SO{sub 2} 2-butanone (methyl-ethyl ketone (MEK)) NH{sub 3} TEDA presented. an attempt characterize quantify process by these desorption characteristics range from completely irreversible (NO{sub 2}) reversible (NH{sub 3}). absorbed water humidity) absorption different each contaminant.
