摘要: Abstract Copper- and chromium-impregnated non-impregnated charcoals have been characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy, showing the composition distribution of elements in charcoal substrate. Water (as D2O) was reacted with dried its gradual thermal desorption studied mass spectrometry. The impregnated retains substantially more water over a wider temperature span. It is suggested that Cr3+, particular, increases number high-energy adsorption sites. Thermal also results decomposition metal hydroxides reduction Cu2+ to Cu+ Cr6+ Cr3+.
