摘要: In this paper, we model the economic feasibility of compressed air energy storage (CAES) to improve wind power integration. The Base Case is a park with 100 MW installed capacity and no facility. Variant 1 add central CAES system 90 compressor 180 generation capacity. stored in cavern. operated independently such that profits from peak sales at spot market reserve are maximized. 2 an integrated, decentralized system, where each turbine equipped but generator. cavern converted into electricity by turbine, again maximizing profit as plant. Both variants modeled for conventional diabatic more advanced adiabatic systems.
