摘要: Force and deformation curves of agricultural materials must be provided for the proper design harvest - ing processing machineries. In this research, fracture resistance barley grain was measured in terms rupture force energy. study, 8 treatments were performed as a randomised complete block with 10 replications. The grains quasi-statically loaded horizontal vertical orientations moisture content at four levels: 7.34, 12.11, 16.82, 21.58% dry basis, loading rates two 5 mm/min. Based on results obtained, required initiating decreased from 161.97 to 93.94 N, 75.37 50.16 energy absorbed increased 36.42 74.70 mJ 27.34 62.65 mJ, orientations, respectively, increase 7.34 basis. This showed that seeds are more flexible orientation.
