摘要: SUMMARY Background Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an irreversible with physiological, psychological and psychosocial challenges, especially for young people. Objectives The objective of this phenomenological study was to identify coping strategies in two groups people aged 12–18 years. In one group, the were healthy other had stage 4–5 CKD. Design Young CKD (stages 4–5) (n = 7) (mean age = 11.5 yrs.) age = 14 recruited from a Children's Hospital Youth Club respectively, invited take part face-to-face, semi-structured interview. Findings Data analysis showed 11 different themes. Conclusion It can be concluded interviews that those alike, utilise range strategies. The themes derived prompt researchers potentially develop measure population. However, longitudinal would help recognise adopt over time provide pathway development formal framework.
