Serum adiponectin level and different kinds of cancer: a review of recent evidence.

摘要: Background. Adiponectin, an adipokine secreted from adipose tissue, has antiobesity, anti-insulin resistance, and anticancer roles. The present study aimed to review the epidemiologic evidence about association between adiponectin cancers. Method. We searched in PubMed 2002 October 2011 by using following key words: cancer, malignancy, cell proliferation, adiponectin. Finally, 45 articles were recruited paper. Findings. Several findings suggested inverse concentration of hormone breast cancer risk. Low levels increase risk endometrial women. Adiponectin significantly associated with prostate men. It seems that there is relationship or its gene colorectal cancer. Significant pancreatic was found. Conclusion. negative correlation This more elucidated obesity insulin resistance. Suppression growth proliferation cells explained via several mechanisms.
