摘要: Histological and morphometrical observations of the intermediolateral nucleus (IML) at levels upper lower thoracic segments (T2 T9) were carried out in 18 patients with sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) 15 age-matched control subjects. Of ALS 6 had been on a respirator before death. No Bunina bodies found IML neurons either or Only small number spheroids encountered rarely both controls. The non-respirator-supported reduced T2, but well preserved T9 compared In respirator-supported patients, there was marked reduction T2 T9. Considering absence direct synaptic contacts anterior horn cells, these neurons, without formation bodies, appeared to be involved primarily disease process ALS.
