摘要: The thoracic sympathetic preganglionic outflow is important in the maintenance of postural normotension man. Normative data on intermediolateral column (ILC) neuron cell bodies lacking. Counts and measurements right ILC cytons have been performed T6, T7 T8 segments 12 spinal cords man obtained within 4-6 h death. A methodology was employed which has optimized to prevent shrinkage cytoplasm from neuropil mathematically corrects number neurons their frequency distribution for split error. mean cyton counts cord were 5002, 5004 4654 respectively. No significant sex difference shown. Most ranged diameter 8-23 micrometer; major peak size histogram at 12-13 micrometer a smaller seen 16 micrometer. There progressive reduction with age. In adult approximately 370 (approximately 8%) are lost per decade. This age may be morphological basis hypotension aged.
