摘要: Abstract A systematic study on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of GdCr1−xRuxO3 (where 0 ≤ x 0.15) was carried out by powder x-ray diffraction along with low temperature magnetization measurements. Lattice parameters cell volume continuously increase doping due to incorporation formation higher ionic radius Ru4+ Cr2+ ion, respectively. Pure GdCrO3 shows antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordering at 170 K a spin-reorientation transition around 8 K. Surprisingly, AFM does not show any variation tetravalent Ru doping; while, completely disappears 5% within investigated region. All these compounds exhibit reversal under applied fields in field-cooled (FC) protocol. Highly delocalized 4d orbitals occupation number result decrease antisymmetric exchange constant (D) doping. Additionally, high-spin weak octahedral field increases effective moment for doped samples. Magnetic relaxation FC mode reveals memory effect pure GdCrO3. field-assisted switching behavior corroborates that state (positive or, negative) can easily be switched application field.
