摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the predictive value intraoperative electro-corticography (ECoG) in patients with unilateral hippocampal sclerosis (HS) undergoing transsylvian selective amygdalohippocampectomy (sAHE). ECoG recorded before and after resection 22 medication-resistant mesial temporal lobe epilepsy. sAHE performed, regardless findings. findings from mesiobasal (MTL) lateral (LTL) were correlated seizure outcome 12 months later. Ten had right-sided left-sided HS. Average age 37.1 years. Pre-resection spikes restricted MTL 11 LTL one. In three seven no resection. Fifteen (68%) remained completely seizure-free 19 (86%) Engel's class I post-operatively. Patients pre-resection (n=11) more frequently (9/11, 82%) compared other (6/11, 55%; P=0.36). may be helpful prediction for A larger including than 100 is needed determine
