摘要: Interleukin (IL)-8 is a C-X-C chemokine that potently chemoattracts and activates neutrophils. We determined whether IL-8 could be produced by human airway smooth muscle cells in culture examined its regulation. TNF-α stimulated mRNA expression protein release time- dose-dependent manner, whereas IFN-γ alone had no effect. Both cytokines together did not induce greater compared to alone. IL-1β was more potent inducing and, with TNF-α, there synergistic augmentation of release. induced partly inhibited the Th-2-derived IL-4, IL-10, IL-13, as well dexamethasone. In addition contractile responses, have synthetic secretory potential subsequent recruitment activation neutrophils airways. Release can modulated corticosteroids.
