摘要: The analysis of native wood components by size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) is challenging. Isolation, derivatization and solubilization polymers required prior to the analysis. present approach allowed determination molecular weight distributions carbohydrates lignin in processed woods, without preparative component isolation steps. For first time a selective SEC sawdust preparations was made possible combination two methods, namely; ionic liquid assisted benzoylation carbohydrate fraction acetobromination acetic acid media. These were optimized for samples. developed method thus used examine changes softwood samples after degradative mechanical and/or chemical treatments, such as ball milling, steam explosion, green liquor pulping, oxidation with 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ). methodology can also be applied lignin-carbohydrate linkages that occur during wood-based biorefinery operations, pretreatments, enzymatic saccharification.
