Mentoring in Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programs

摘要: Abstract Mentor relationships have become a topic of increasing interest in graduate education. No previous study has addressed mentoring from the vantage point Directors Training. Training (N = 115) American Psychological Association (APA) accredited clinical psychology doctoral programs returned surveys (59% response rate) regarding importance and frequency mentor their programs. Respondents were asked to rate various functions, methods rewarding faculty behavior level agreement that should be an accreditation criteria. Overall, estimate 82% students are mentored is considered extremely important for student development. The full survey results presented implications education discussed. PhD PsyD program differences also highlighted.
