摘要: This review traces the history of mental hospital movement, initially on world stage, and later in India, relation to advances psychiatric care. Mental hospitals have played a significant role evolution psychiatry its present status. The earliest India were established during British colonial rule. They served as means isolate mentally ill persons from societal mainstream provide treatments that vogue at time.
