COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF INJECTION NOZZLE LATERAL OUTFLOW ON THE PERFORMANCE OF RANQUE-HILSCH VORTEX TUBE

摘要: In this article computational fluid dynamics analysis of a 3-D compressible and turbulent flow has been carried out through vortex tube. The Standard k-e turbulence model is utilized in order to simulate an axisymmetric domain. numerical simulation focused on the energy separation field patterns somewhat non-conventional tube, which basis creating external hole at end each nozzle. According selected nozzles geometry, some unfavorable phenomena such as shock wave, high pressure regions appearing unsymmetrical rotating chamber would be recovered significantly. way physical parameters are derived under different both inlet mass rates outlet pressures hole. results show that increasing value enhanced cooling capacity machine most operating conditions.
