摘要: Abstract Purpose To analyse the correlations between eye lens dose estimates performed with dosimeters placed next to eyes of paediatric interventional cardiologists working a biplane system, personal equivalent measured on thorax and patient dose. Methods The was estimated in terms H p (0.07) monthly basis, placing optically stimulated luminescence (OSLDs) goggles. over aprons whole-body OSLDs. Data as recorded by kerma-area product ( P KA ) were collected using an automatic management system. 2 facility involved study, 222 interventions 1-year period evaluated. ceiling-suspended screen often disregarded during interventions. Results annual doses goggles 4.13 ± 0.93 4.98 ± 1.28 mSv. Over aprons, obtained 10.83 ± 0.99 11.97 ± 1.44 mSv. correlation apron R  = 0.89, ratio 0.38.  = 0.40, 1.79 μSv Gy −1  cm −2 . per procedure 102 ± 16 μSv, 40 ± 9 μSv. normalized 2.21 ± 0.58 μSv Gy Conclusions Measurements cardiologist’s are useful estimate levels if no radiation protection devices typically used.
