摘要: Abstract This study investigated isotopic signatures of carbon (C), lead (Pb) and strontium (Sr) in PM2.5 samples collected from two paired sites (urban vs. rural/background) northern Taiwan during the summer 2015 spring 2016, respectively. Significant seasonality was revealed C Pb, whereas no seasonal difference observed 87Sr/86Sr ratio. The values δ13C, 206Pb/207Pb, 208Pb/207Pb were more diverse exhibited local features summer. However, episodes continental pollution outbreaks springtime, δ13C Pb isotope ratios shifted converged consistently toward documented characteristics particulate matters China. Moreover, results showed that differences Sr between urban rural statistically insignificant, marginally lower at site. It inferred accordingly a substantial amount gaseous hydrocarbons emitted areas could have been converted to secondary organic aerosols with δ13C. On contrary, consistency spatial temporal variations mass concentration suggested East-Asian outbreak major source Pb-containing particles springtime. is noteworthy there neither nor ratio this study, which Sr-containing be originating common mixture sources, including not only natural dust but also anthropogenic emissions, coal-combustion for instance. investigation upon C-Pb-Sr evidenced impacts on aerosol composition air quality downwind winter monsoons.
