Primary sequence and developmental expression of a novel Drosophila melanogaster src gene.

摘要: Abstract We have sequenced a cDNA clone for the Drosophila melanogaster gene Dsrc28C, homolog of vertebrate c-src. The contains single open reading frame encoding protein 66 kilodaltons which features highly conserved within src family tyrosine kinases. Novel structural Dsrc28C include basic pI and polyglycine domain near amino terminus. Cell-free translation in vitro-transcribed RNA yielded predicted size could be immunoprecipitated by anti-v-src antisera. blot hybridization revealed that is expressed predominantly during embryogenesis, imaginal disks third-instar larvae, adult females. In situ showed expression females largely confined to nurse cells developing oocytes.
