Further observations of the eclipsing X-ray burst source MXB 1659-29

摘要: An analysis is presented of data for MXB 1659-29 obtained during October 2-10, 1976 and June 6-11, 1977 using the SAS 3 X-ray Observatory (Lewin et al., 1976) September 8-13, 1978 A-1 experiment aboard HEAO 1 (Wood 1984). The confirm 7.1 hr orbital period provide evidence 15-min eclipse reported by Cominsky Wood (1984). A total 32 bursts are detected observations. By combining with previously published results, found to be about 0.29650474 days. 22 references.
