Numerical investigation into the convective heat transfer of CuO nanofluids flowing through a straight tube with uniform heat flux

摘要: The turbulent flow of nanofluids with different volume concentrations nanoparticles flowing through a straight tube under constant heat flux condition is analyzed numerically. considered are mixtures copper oxide (CuO) and water as the base fluid. viscosity obtained on basis experimental data. predicted Nusselt numbers exhibit good agreement Gnielinski's correlation. results show that by increasing concentration, wall shear stress transfer rates increase.
