摘要: Chromosomal instability, which is a characteristic of many human cancers, contributes to intratumour heterogeneity and has been functionally implicated in resistance taxane therapy tumour models. However, defining the status chromosomal instability given test this hypothesis remains challenging. Measurements numerical structural demonstrate that histological grade correlates with oestrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer. Using data on adjuvant women cancer, we propose patients low-grade ER-positive tumours, are thought be chromosomally stable, might derive unexpected benefit from therapy. We discuss implications relationships between grade, heterogeneity, development high-throughput methods define potential use tailor
